Music has always been a great part of my life.  As far back as I can remember my brother and I were exposed to all kinds of music.  My mother would rock us to sleep at night with her beautiful soothing voice, singing us into heavenly bliss.  As a child, I was always writing poems to express the way I felt. At the age of six, my beloved dog “Major” was hit by a car and killed.  Through my tears, I wrote a song about the loss of my little friend.  I found that by chanting this song over and over, I was able to cope with the pain.  I soon realized that writing songs and poems, was a way for me, throughout my life, to express all kinds of intense emotions.

I grew up spending much of my youth in a Pentecostal church, where the love of God was freely and passionately expressed through dancing and singing in the "Spirit". Through this experience and through the love and compassion that my parents showed to all they came in contact with, I was able to learn about faith, the acceptance of others and the power of God's Love.

I brought a need to passionately express myself through my college years where I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre.  I then moved to New York and was cast in the lead role of “Grease” on Broadway.  When I left the show after a year, I began singing in jazz and blues clubs throughout New England.  I moved to Boston and studied at Berklee College of Music.  My brother and I, along with the entire band, then made the move to Los Angeles, where I continued performing in the the club scene.

I became involved in film and television with acting roles on “Days of Our Lives”, “General Hospital” and a number of episodic series.   I began writing and singing for feature films, TV and radio.  A number of my films are currently running on HBO, Cinemax, Showtime & USA.”

I just released my new CD titled, Takin' Hold Of Your Heart".  My brother, Earl Greco and I have always worked together musically.  While we were living and performing in Los Angeles, he became very well known  internationally for his advanced bass technique which was recorded on the “Star Licks Video Series”. He is an amazingly gifted & creative musician who has the ability to combine unbelievable technique with incredible sensitivity.

While in Los Angeles I worked closely with actor Martin Landau who directed me in the lead role of the rock musical "Reach for the Stars" inwhich I wrote a number of songs.  I spent many hours in the studio providing the speaking and singing voices for a number of Hanna Barbera cartoons as well as commercials for radio and TV.

I built a recording studio in my home in RI in order to be closer to my family and continue to record for film and television projects in Los Angeles and in New England. I was the recipient  of the "Most Outstanding Female Singer" Award in the 6th Annual "Blues Audience" Readers Poll.  I am currently performing throughout the US and in the near future, Europe.

My current band members are my brother, Earl Greco on bass, Skip Fischer on drums,  Jody Briggs on keys & Hammond.  Although my music is very bluesy, I like to draw from my other influences, R&B, Gospel, Funk & Rock.  I feel very blessed that the current members of my band are not only incredible musicians in there own right but they bring their heart and soul to my music.

As a child, my father influenced me to never run away from an obstacle but rather to embrace it completely as an exciting challenge and my mother taught me that music is the true expression of God's love in your soul. That combination of desire, determination and faith have carried me through every challenge. I find that when I’m standing on the edge and a bit uncomfortable, and I could possibly fail miserably, I’m also right at the point where I can create something I never thought I was capable of.
